July 6, 2005, Standard and Poor's announced that it assigned an “Above Average” special servicer ranking to Fan Ya Tai Asset Management Company (International) Limited, the first company to receive such in the Greater China Region. On November 07, 2008, Fan Ya Tai had received an affirmation for the 4th year in a row of an Above Average rating as a Special Servicer from Standard and Poor's. The ranking reflected Fan Ya Tai’s Competency in servicing nonperforming loan and distressed assets.
S&P introduced servicer evaluations in 1989 to meet increasing demand for independent and comprehensive assessments of the operational capabilities of servicers of mortgage loans and other receivables. All S&P servicer evaluations are referenced to global benchmarks.

Det Norske Veritas has awarded its Management System Certificate - ISO 9001:2000 to Fan Ya Tai Asset Management Company (International) Ltd. This certificate is valid for the asset management & services for third party non-performing asset and real estates. FYT is the 1st third party special servicer to receive such certification in the Greater China Region, and the 2nd asset management company to do so, after Huarong Asset Management Company.
